Marissa B.
Marissa has lived in Central Oregon for the last few years. She has always had a passion for animals of all sizes. Her passion started when she began volunteering at a young age with therapeutic horses and shelter dogs. Ever since then she has always wanted to work in Veterinary Medicine and assist in providing care for pets in all stages of life. She currently has a dog, cat, and rabbit.
When not working, you can find Marissa with her husband and son. Exploring the outdoors, by the water in the summer or snowboarding in the winter.
Kristi K.
Kristi has spent her life traveling around the world; from growing up on military bases overseas, graduating college at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, and living on both coasts, she has always had a profound love of animals. While living in Texas, she started working at a veterinary clinic and fell in love with the patients, and especially the owners that treat their furry friends as family. When Kristi isn’t spending time at the clinic, she enjoys going on adventures with her husband and young son, reading, playing video games, and cross stitching.
Cassandra T.
Veterinary Assistant
Cassandra decided to call Central Oregon home in January of 2020. Her love for animals extends beyond the clinic walls; at home, she’s accompanied by her loyal black lab, Cash, who never fails to bring joy to her life. With a keen eye for detail and a drive to uncover the root causes of illnesses, Cassandra is committed to providing the best possible care for every furry friend that walks through our doors.
When she’s not busy caring for animals, Cassandra and her fiancé, Jake, can often be found immersed in their shared love for home renovation. Currently, they’re putting their passion into renovating their second home, building upon the success of their finished project, creating warm and welcoming havens one room at a time.
Pia S.
Veterinary Assistant
Pia was born and raised in Finland. Her love for all creatures great and small started there. Her family had horses, cats, dogs, sheep and goats. She has over 30 years of experience as a veterinary assistant.
Her favorite aspect about her job is client education and preventative medicine. Her goal is to make sure all patients are treated like family.
When not working, you can find her trail running, hiking, fly fishing and camping with her husband and their dogs Tuli and Tucker. They also have Happy the cat.

Caelli Edmonds
Veterinarian
Dr. Caelli Edmonds, a native Canadian, was raised in Washington State and graduated from Burlington Edison High School. Her educational journey led her to Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina, for her undergraduate studies. Returning to her home state, she pursued veterinary school at Washington State University, proudly representing the Cougars, and earned her Veterinary Degree in 2005. Growing up, she was involved in swimming, singing, and showing sheep in 4-H.
Her professional journey commenced with an intensive equine internship at Lone Star Park Equine Hospital in Texas from 2005-2006. Following this, she spent two years in private equine practice before discovering her true passion for small animal medicine. In 2009, along with her husband Dr. Paul, she relocated and joined Cinder Rock Veterinary Clinic, where she dedicated over a decade to building meaningful relationships with staff, clients, and patients.
In 2017, Dr. Caelli Edmonds and Dr. Paul embarked on a new venture by establishing Black Diamond Equine Veterinary Clinic. Today, the clinic thrives in the Central Oregon community, boasting multiple doctors and a highly skilled team.
Beyond her medical career, Caelli’s professional influence played a pivotal role in shaping a new clinic. Her confident personality resonates with colleagues and clients alike. Continuously advancing her skills in various areas of veterinary medicine, she specializes in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, oncology, general, emergency, and geriatric care.
Balancing professional and personal life seamlessly, Caelli is a dedicated wife and mother, raising two boys on an active farm. She instills in them the values of responsibility and balance. An avid backpacker, biker, gardener, and cook, Caelli’s ability to remain calm in the midst of chaos serves her well both personally and professionally. Her excitement is palpable as she brings Ridgeview Veterinary Clinic to Central Oregon.
Jessica Puccetti
Veterinarian, cVMA, FFCP, PennHIP certified
Dr. Jessica is an integrative veterinarian focusing on root-cause medicine and healing through all modalities. Jessica was born in Napa, California, and moved to Redmond, Oregon, at the age of 11. She grew up on acreage and participated in 4-H and FFA, raising and showing sheep, hogs, and horses. From an early age, she worked with animals and learned the importance of the human-animal bond. Jessica received her Bachelor of Science degree in BioResource Research at Oregon State University in 2009, followed by her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2014.
Jessica acquired her acupuncture certification during her last year of vet school through the CuraCore Integrative Medicine and Education Center. However, her passion for integrative and root cause medicine didn’t truly start until her own family began having health challenges, and she began to truly see the limitations of Western medicine alone. Her family ignited her new passion for finding a more comprehensive approach to healing that focuses on the root cause and not quick fixes.
Jessica’s husband, Beau, was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis after searching for a “diagnosis” for his back pain for 15 years. She watched as Western medicine modalities made him more diseased, thus making him more reliant on expensive and more damaging medications.
While, Jessica and her husband, Beau were dealing with his side effects of all his new Western medications, they got pregnant with their second daughter. At the first ultrasound, the doctors diagnosed her with a cleft lip and palate. When Jessica began asking why, no doctor could give a reason so she began researching. She found that the increasing prevalence of genetic diseases in humans had been increasing exponentially in the past 100 years. Why was no one asking why?
This prompted Jessica to explore alternative healing methods for her family. She began to see her family thrive with whole food nutrition and simple things like going outside and connecting to the spiritual and the divine. This path eventually transformed her professional approach to veterinary medicine as she realized the pitfalls of Western medicine alone. As a certified veterinary medical acupuncturist, a Fear Free Certified Professional, and beginning her education in herbal medicine, her mission is clear: to provide holistic, whole-body care for pets, addressing the root causes of their ailments, just as she has learned to do in her own life.
Jessica also shares tips and tricks for pet owners through her social media on Instagram. Make sure to follow @dr.jess.dvm if you’re interested in holistic advice for pet parents!
Away from working, you can find Jessica outdoors; camping, hiking, and adventuring with her husband, Beau, her two daughters, Sedona and Adelaide, and their two dogs; Kai (a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and Beira (a Golden Retriever). They also have two indoor cats that rule the home (Bebe and Pai Mei).
